Max sales commission is an important metric for salespeople, as it represents their earning potential. It can also be a powerful motivator for salespeople to achieve their sales goals.
The amount of max sales commission that a salesperson can earn varies depending on a number of factors, including:
- The industry in which the salesperson works
- The size of the company
- The salesperson's experience and track record
- The salesperson's sales territory
- The amount of focus on driving sales (the higher the maximum commission the higher the number of sales)
In general, salespeople in high-growth industries and salespeople with more experience and a proven track record of success also tend to have higher max sales commissions.
How it works:
If you set the Max Sales Commission to $100,000 then Recurve will track commission for that specific person up to the point where they meet $100,000 in commission and then no longer record commission for that particular person.
As an example, you allow a salesperson to get a 2% commission on sales up to $100,000 then Recurve will track each month the 1% commission until it equals $100,000. After that point, the salesperson no longer is eligible to receive commission:
